Hey there, it's nice to meet you.
I'm Christina Buiza Romein, a Filipino-Canadian who grew up in Jakarta, Indonesia, before settling in Vancouver, Canada with my husband and two kids. As a Third Culture Kid, I've always been a curious learner with a passion for understanding people, places, and technology.
I’ve had a fulfilling career as an expert generalist, combining 14 years of experience in technical customer support, people leadership, communications, marketing, and business development. I love getting things done and figuring out ways to make things happen.
In 2023, I pivoted into a career as a C-Level Executive Assistant. Currently, I serve as Executive Assistant at Zapier, where I work closely with the CEO/Co-Founder and Chief of Staff/VP. New Products to build and manage the systems, processes, and tools that help them execute efficiently. I am passionate about my job and the work that I do.
In addition to my role, I'm proud to also serve on Zapier's BIPOC Employee Resource Group's (ERG) leadership team as the current Chair (2023) and previous Member Development Chair (2022). Inclusion is extremely important to me, and the ERG serves Zapier's employees who identify as Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour to create community and increase representation at all levels of the company.
When I'm not working, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends, embracing motherhood, exploring new places, and engaging in outdoor activities like hiking, canoeing, snowshoeing, and long walks. I am also an avid reader and writer, and I love refining my cooking skills and finding ways to give back to my community.
This space is where I document my thoughts and ideas, and while it may be a bit messy, I hope it gives you a glimpse into who I am and what I'm all about. Thank you for taking the time to get to know me.

Living a clutter-free and minimalist lifestyle. Redefine your perceptions of success, one that isn't exclusively tied to material possessions.

Pass your knowledge and experience to others. Don't view an interaction as a transaction.
